Propelled by a high-efficiency 48-volt AC electric motor driven by a 350-amp programmable controller, the Tug 8K delivers an impressive 15.4 peak horsepower to handle heavy pulling tasks without stalling. The powertrain relies on six heavy-duty, 8-volt deep-cycle flooded lead-acid batteries managed by an onboard 1000W intelligent charger that plugs directly into standard facility outlets. This combination generates excellent low-end torque for constant pulling power, delivering a tested operating range that keeps warehouses and industrial plants moving smoothly through long shifts.

The chassis of the Tug 8K is constructed from fully welded high-strength steel covered in a 4-way embossed diamond-pattern plate body, all protected by a durable, impact-resistant DuraShield powder coat. This specialized industrial layout supports an exceptional 8,000-pound towing capacity and a 650-pound vehicle payload limit, which includes a 4.9-square-foot rear cargo deck designed for tools and gear. Safety is significantly boosted by an automated electronic parking brake that locks instantly at every stop, working alongside a responsive 2-wheel hydraulic drum braking system and a tight 9-foot outside clearance circle to ensure agile, fail-safe handling on busy facility floors.
